Letters from Nowhere 2 is a Hidden Object Game played on the PC created by Awem Studio. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide on how to complete Letters from Nowhere 2.
General TipsThis hidden object game requires visiting several locations, collecting all listed items and completing minigames to advance play. Finding optional Black Cats and Stamps opens additional modes of play. There are 11 Episodes (chapters) consisting of a varying number of locations around town.
Find all the objects at every location to continue. Each episode contains one minigame. Completing minigames adds an Artifact to the town map. Artifacts are placed in a series of narrative scenes at the conclusion of the game to complete the story. There are no penalties for multiple clicks in a scene and no timer when playing in the default (Adventure) mode. Hints are unlimited but cost 2,500 points per hint and can only be accessed after the hint bar fills.
Each scene has a puzzle clue that is solved by combining two objects. Drag the mouse around the scene to find the objects. A hand indicates a movable object. A gear shows where the object should be placed.
Black cats will glimmer when the mouse passes over them. Minigame access is indicated by a yellow outline around an object when the mouse is over the interactive area.Modes of play:. Adventure – This is the only mode available when you begin play.
Complete the game in adventure mode to collect 31 of 32 black cats and 93 of 96 stamps. A scene in unlimited mode contains the 32nd cat and the last three stamps. Unlimited (locked) – Collect 50 Stamps to unlock. This is a timed mode in the sense that your time to find all the objects is kept. If you are registered at Awem games you may post your time. Try to beat the Ace time to win a trophy or the best time posted on Awem.
Puzzle (locked) – Collect 32 Black Cats to unlock. Play any minigame again or, if you skipped a game during play, play it now to earn the 100% minigame completion trophy.Scoring Tips:Accumulate points to purchase Bonus Items and earn trophies. With the exception of Diary pages, rapidly finding the following in a scene earns their base amount plus additional points accumulate at the rate of 1,000+ per item. Black Cats: 2,000 points. Stamps – 1,000 points. Puzzle items – 2,000 points.
List items – 500 each. Diary Pages – 1,000 points.Bonus Items:. Thermometer – (Cost: 10,000 points.) Cursor changes between hot and cold to help locate hidden items. It only lasts approximately 30 seconds. Jack in the Box – (Cost: 20,000 points.) Earn 15,000 points for finding it in a scene.
Camera – (Cost: 55,000 points.) Flashes the location of six objects in a scene. Palette – (Cost: 65,000 points.) View pictures of the objects.Items must be purchased prior to beginning play on a scene. These items are also hidden objects and must be found to activate them.Beginning Play:. Profiles – Create or delete player profiles by following the “Not you? Click here” link on the main game page.

Click a location to enter it. They need not be entered in order. A small icon along the top shows any bonus item(s) purchased and available in the scene. Menu. Change options or return to the main menu. Trophy Room. View your trophies.
At the top of the trophy page is a summary containing your score, stamps collected and cats found. This is also where you can link to Awem to post scores. Bonus items. If you have sufficient points to purchase a bonus item, it will be displayed. Purchased items are only available for the scenes currently shown. Every episode has an additional location that is added to the map once the Diary page is read.

Click the Menu tab (red) to change play options or return to the main menu. Clicking the Hint circle will highlight a random object. It costs 2,500 points each time it is used and cannot be accessed again until the circle refills. The Map tab exits the scene and returns to the episode map. Progress on the current scene is saved.For this scene:.
Drag the red chevron from the car hood to the sign to complete the puzzle clue “Chevron sign”. Collect the cat, three stamps and remaining items listed. Collect the Diary page.
Read the text. A new location, the Magic Shop, is added to the locations. Combine the two pieces of the brain.
Collect the cat, the stamps and then the remaining items. Click the painting to play a spot-the-difference minigame. The solution is shown in the next screenshot.
Drag the pipe to the snake container to Charm the snake. Collect the cat, stamps and the remaining items. Solving the spot-the-difference minigame (A) rewards you with your first artifact (B). As you progress, more artifacts will be added to this screen. This completes Episode I.

This game is designed to create revenue for someone and the one that was created for the computer was created to be enjoyed. I will not pay to play any game. Used up all my hints within a couple of minutes as couldnt find items to find they were at the bottom hidden behind the area which lists the objects to find. Zooming in and out made absolutley no difference,couldnt be seen!
