It includes downloading the mobile version, which looks super lame, and adding your email and a code which they'll send you a code to access the Steam beta.First of all, this is the real Paintball experience from the same team that's done all the Greg Hastings games. Shooting a speedball bag has that 'oh so wonderful slap' and the bag reacts realistically.Right now there's no PVP, but it's more of a tournament style PVP: like you have a fictional team of guys as a 'team' and you play against increasingly harder and harder opponents, but only AI ones. Meanwhile, the other human players are doing the same simultaneously. And while you never play a human, you're battling for points.The game itself is very good. It has its quirks, but they're taking player feedback and active on the forums.
You also get a lot of free in game money, so you can power your way through to the best gear in less than 30 minutes.For me, it's the best traditional FPS VR experience. The locomotion is tied to analog stick and is not teleportation, and by most accounts, people who struggle with artificial locomotion feel great with it. I'm wondering if this is universal to players in general. I'm genuinely interested in hearing from you guys on this subject.Anyway, check out the game! It's free right now, and a super fun and casual experience with high production value.
